- The Mission of the GWCF is to provide opportunities that strengthen the Driving Park community.
- Our vision for the target community is to:
- Create a more vibrant, safer, healthier, educated community in the Driving Park area.
- Offer housing opportunities, structure that provides affordable housing options and education programs about homeownership and options.
- Contribute to the academic, social, and emotional development of Driving Park youth.
- Provide support that ensures both infants and seniors are happy and healthy.
- Become the Driving Park residents and stakeholders “go to” central resource for information to get their needs met and touch point for influencers, community, and political leaders.
- Become recognized as a national model for local community foundations, board members are sought after to make presentations and provide guidance to other foundation boards.

- Assist individuals to increase their knowledge/understanding of their finances.
- Repair/improve their credit score.
- Learn basic home maintenance skills.
- Promote Civic Involvement.
The 1 Home goal is to educate, enlighten and empower individuals to become financially independent and informed neighborhood residents!
