General Information: Performs administrative and office support activities for the “Just Between Us” Mentoring Program (JBUMP) and as directed by the organization’s Director and the JBUMP Coordinator. Duties may include receiving and making telephone calls, receiving and directing visitors, managing correspondence, word processing, data entry, creating spreadsheets and presentations, coordinating registration activities, general bookkeeping, filing and other duties related to the JBUMP. Under direct supervision of the JBUMP Coordinator.
Performs essential duties/assignments as follows:
Experience and Skills Required: Extensive software skills (Microsoft Office - Word, Excel. PowerPoint, etc.), etc. are required, as well as Internet research abilities and strong communication skills. Employee must be willing to submit to a BCI background check.
Minimum Education Required: High school diploma and two (2) years of administrative experience.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities. This position will support the GWCF Administrative Assistant on an as needed basis.
This job operates in a professional office environment. Confidentiality of client records and GWCF general business practices and operations must be maintained at all times.
This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.
Expected Hours of Work
TBD by employee with supervisors’ approval. Some evening and week-end work may be required but will be scheduled in advance.
This position is funded by a one year grant received from the Ohio Department of Education (ODE). The GWCF can only commit to funding this position from July 3, 2017 until June 30, 2018. The GWCF intends to apply for additional to fund the JBUMP but cannot guarantee that this position will continue beyond June 30, 2018.

Performs executive duties as directed by the GWCF Board of Trustees; scope of work may include but is not limited to overseeing activities and supervising staff to coordinate the day-to-day operations, programs and services of the organization; support/facilitate communications between program staff and consultants to ensure collaboration and teamwork to accomplish the mission and vision of GWCF. Develop formal/informal partnerships with community, local and state entities under the guidance of GWCF’s core principles and actively pursue avenues to procure resources that will sustain operations, program services and activities of GWCF.
